Sales Executive
We are offering an exciting opportunity for
a sales professional to join a young organization and work closely
with Executive Management, Product Management, and Marketing to
drive a new product into the financial markets.
This is a direct sales, quota carrying position. Account Executives
in this role are responsible for selling an innovative product
suite into new customers.
Due to the nature of the product, the role requires specific domain
knowle dge of the financial markets. This person will be an individual
contributor but a team player. This person will also be responsible
for:
• Developing and executing and/or assisting in the development
and execution of presentations and product demonstrations.
• Identifying and qualifying new prospects across an assigned
territory. This is a product that requires deep domain or product
knowledge.
• Develop & maintain a database (Sales Funnel) of potential
and existing account penetration for sales management.
• Prepare timely and accurate client/account activity summaries
and sales forecasts for management's review.
Qualifications
This position requires an individual with experience in selling
specialized technical products and/or services as well as the
following:
• Proven ability to be a self starter and the ability to
drive the sales process within an assigned territory.
• B.A. or B.S. required.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in direct selling
specialized technical products/solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with effective and positive
leadership qualities desired.
• Strong ability to negotiate and close deals.
• In-depth understanding of information technology as well
as a strong understanding of the markets.
• Working knowledge of product development desired.
• Aggressive commission plan with stock option participation
possible.
