CEO
Dan is the co-founder and CEO of Norbury Financial, the future
of research software for managing the internal operations of investment
professionals - including Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Directors
of Research and Chief Operating Officers. Norbury’s flagship
product, Norbury Links, saves investment professionals time by
centralizing and indexing internal and external research for easy
retrieval and cross referencing - making collaboration among colleagues,
and across geographical locations, seamless and simple.
Prior to founding Norbury Dan was a co-founder
and Portfolio Manager of Clipper Capital Management LLC, a long/short
US equity hedge fund. Over a five year period while managing funds
at Clipper Dan lent his research expertise toward the growth of
internal systems developed by Clipper. These systems developed
internally by Clipper were ultimately spun off into Norbury.
Prior to founding Clipper Dan was an analyst
at Maple Row Management, a top performing long/short equity hedge
fund, where he helped invest $400 million in emerging growth stocks
and helped the firm focus on its investment strategy in small
cap growth stocks. Prior to Maple Row Dan was both a research
analyst and a trader at C. Blair Asset Management, a $700 million
long/short US hedge fund, and prior to that was a research analyst
at Renaissance Capital, a long/short equity investment firm.
Dan graduated from the University of Notre
Dame where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree
with a concentration in Finance

Dave Earley
President & COO
Dave is the co-founder and President of

indexing internal and external research for easy retrieval and

across geographical locations, seamless and simple.
Prior to founding Norbury Dave was a co-founder
of Clipper Capital Management LLC, a long/short US equity hedge
fund. Over a five year period while operating Clipper Dave managed
development efforts of internal software that was used to help
run the hedge fund. The systems Dave developed internally were
ultimately spun out of the hedge fund and Norbury was organized.
Prior to co-founding Clipper Dave was a manager
at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked for ten years as a member
of their tax and legal services division. He has extensive experience
with legal structuring, tax planning, corporate cash management,
and financial analysis. Dave has dealt extensively with flow-through
entity structures including limited partnerships and LLC's in
both the investment management and real estate fields. He authored
a national technical course within PricewaterhouseCoopers on business
analysis and operations consulting and in July of 2000 while at
PricewaterhouseCoopers he initiated development efforts of a new
on-line software offering called AdvancedBenchmarking. AdvancedBenchmarking
is a software product offering specific to emerging companies
designed to help measure and improve their business operations
(see US Patent Application #20040032420).
Dave is a certified public accountant licensed
in the state of Massachusetts. Dave graduated Summa Cum Laude
from Northeastern University and holds a Bachelor of Business
Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

James W. Anderson, CFA
Vice President of Sales & Client Service
James Anderson recently joined the senior
management team at Norbury Financial as the Vice President of
Sales and Client Service. Norbury’s flagship product, Norbury
Links, streamlines the overflow of information with the ability
to process investment intelligence - saving investment professionals
time by centralizing and indexing internal and external research
for easy retrieval and cross referencing. With over 15 years of
sales and financial analysis experience, James brings with him
a unique skill set tailored to help drive the growth of a financial
technology company on the front lines of innovation. He is tasked
with building the Norbury sales and support team as well as lending
guidance to their marketing effort. In addition to joining the
firm, James personally joined the latest round of investors as
an equity stakeholder.
Prior to joining Norbury, James worked as
Vice President & Director of Sales & Consulting at FactSet
Research Systems. Under his leadership, the Northeast division
developed and maintained the largest client relationships known
to FactSet globally. In 2001, during his tenure there, James completed
the requirements for receipt of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
designation, broadly recognized “as the definitive standard
for measuring competence and integrity in the fields of portfolio
management and investment analysis”. Over the years, James
has avidly and actively supported the efforts of the CFA Institute
and two of its chapters of which he is a member, the Boston Security
Analysts Society (BSAS) and the Montreal CFA Society. In that
pursuit, James is currently coordinating the full length practice
exam for Level II of the CFA curriculum sponsored by the BSAS
and offered to CFA member societies and CFA candidates worldwide.
Before FactSet, James worked at HUB International,
a leading North American insurance brokerage, and the Boston Company,
now Mellon Bank.
James graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier
Ohio with a degree in Economics.

Mike Earley
CTO
Mike is the co-founder and CTO at Norbury Financial, the future
of research software for managing the internal operations of investment
professionals - including Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Directors
of Research and Chief Operating Officers. Norbury’s flagship
product, Norbury Links, saves investment professionals time by
centralizing and indexing internal and external research for easy
retrieval and cross referencing - making collaboration among colleagues,
and across geographical locations, seamless and simple.
Prior to Norbury Mike was the Director of
software at Avior Computing, Inc., where he designed and developed
BizBoard, a distributed, multi-threaded, .NET based Business Flow
Dashboard for use with Microsoft’s BizTalk server.
Prior to Avior Mike was a Principal Software
Engineer at Altaworks, Inc. where he developed large scale, distributed,
data-intensive application management solutions for end-to-end
management of enterprise class J2EE applications. Specifically,
Mike Co-Architected the Adaptive Analysis Engine for monitoring
and correcting transaction response time degradation in managed
systems, and designed and implemented the flagship Inference Engine
components responsible for data analysis and reduction (see US
Patent #6,643,613, and US Patent Application #20030110007 and
#20030079160). While solving the complex problems associated with
enterprise application management, Mike was able to successfully
synthesize many multi-disciplinary concepts toward achieving an
effective solution, including: statistical process controls, machine
learning and Bayesian statistics, rules engine technology, and
collaborative user interfacing.
Prior to Altaworks Mike was a Software Engineer with Metronics,
Inc., an industry leading developer of PC based Dimensional Inspection
software. While at Metronics Mike developed client side motion
control software for driving industrial electric motors, and three-dimensional
rendering software for graphically rendering measured components
in a CAD like application.
Mike graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University
of New Hampshire and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English
with a concentration in Language and Grammars.
